Established in 1954 by Rengaswami Asaarri, Sivaji Jewellery Makers began as a humble jewel-making pattrai (workshop) in Andipatti. Renowned for crafting exquisite ancient cultural ornaments cherished by women of that era, the workshop quickly gained a reputation for its craftsmanship and quality. Over time, the pattrai evolved into a Central Government licensed jewellery mart, standing among the few recognized jewel shops in Andipatti town. The legacy of Rengaswami Asaarri was carried forward by his sons—Mr. R. Sivaji, Mr. R. Sekar, and Mr. R. Jawahar—who expanded and developed the business while preserving its heritage of handpicked jewel collections. As trends evolved, Sivaji Jewellery Mart embraced innovation, introducing fresh designs while maintaining the traditional charm. The shop became synonymous with quality, never compromising on excellence, regardless of the era. Today, the grandsons of Mr. Rengaswami have embarked on a new venture, bringing modern casting techniques, breastmilk jewellery, and a blend of traditional and contemporary designs.
